Designed to fit every lighting need, from the bike, to the trail, to the cave, to the workshop, and for search and rescue the Fenix HL21 boasts a super sturdy lightweight build with the lighting power, long runtimes, and adjustability to perform anytime, anywhere. Equipped with a CREE XP-E R2 emitter, the HL20 has four running modes and boasts super long runtimes with just one inexpensive and easy to find AA battery. With a maximum beam distance of 93 meters, the light delivers 90 lumens for up to 2 hours of continuous use in high mode, 43 lumens for up to 5.7 hours of continuous use in medium mode, 3 lumens for over 2 full days (53 hours) on low mode, and a SOS flashing mode. Digitally regulated output maintains constant and uninterrupted brightness and the toughened ultra-clear glass lens with anti-reflective coating and included Fenix diffuser lens ensures high quality lighting. Built to last and designed for lightweight comfort, the HL21 is constructed of aircraft grade aluminum with a premium type-III hard-anodized, anti-abrasive finish. The light weighs just 1.73 ounces without the battery and is equipped with a comfortable headband. Waterproof to IPX-8 Standard, the Fenix HL21 is expedition ready and reliable. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty. The headlamp has been designed with improvements over the 1st generation HL20 such as improved push button switch and improved headband comfort with larger size capability. Black Diamond Icon Headlamp Review
Seven different settings, from spotlight to proximity lighting, and a faceted reflector that maximizes the distance of the beam, give you the best options for long- and close-range lighting. Powered by 3 AA batteries or the fully rechargeable NGR battery, the Icon has power meter indicators that let you know when you're above 50 percent power, above 20 percent power, and when you're about to run out of power and are below 20 percent. Like most Black Diamond headlamps, the Icon is protected against splashing and water spray from any angle.
